The place was very clean and i was in a section that had a lock on the door so only people in that section had access too. I have stayed before and the section did not have a lock and other people were able to access the facilities in our section. My stay this time had less people staying so it was very quiet, even though it was the exact same time last year. Staff were very friendly and helpful.

The best of Cape Town budget. Comfortable, clean, tranquil, perfect location, helpful and considerate staff, and definitely value for money. It seems that MoTown takes reviews seriously. Cos all the issues complained about in reviews are not there anymore. Did I mention: close to beach, shops and hang-out place Mojo Market?

The staff are very friendly, with quick responses to any grievances. It’s clean and well kept. Definitely get value for money.

Centrally located as it's a five-minute walk in any direction to eateries and the Promenade, but the property itself is in a quiet street with safe street parking. Staff were really great and helpful, and I was overjoyed when they upgraded my stay unexpectedly. The room I stayed in was nice, comfy bed and mountain view from the bedroom, kitchen well equipped and nice warm shower. Will definitely use this was my go-to accommodation when visiting that part of the world.

The location was excellent and the building and rooms were pretty comfortable and easy to stay in with a mid-century character and homely feel.

location is very nice, safe to walk around during the day and also short distances in the early evening, staff is friendly and helpful extended our stay after 3 nights cause we liked it so much. changed to a smaller room then which was perfectly fine as well

The place is convenient to all shops, restaurants and bus station. This made it very very easy for me to travel around. Two blocks down is Mojo market for evening chill out with live music which I enjoyed very much. The staff is super friendly and ready to assist you with anything. They are the best... Definitely going to stay there whenever l am in Cape Town.

Location is excellent, it is clean, the staff is very friendly. I travelled on a small budget and thus do not complain that the room is small and the facilities are very basic.
